Digital Illustrator (Character-Driven, World-Building, Web3 Focus)

We’re looking for an Illustrator with range, originality, and a fierce drive to create iconic visuals that define culture and live forever.

What You’ll Do

• Illustrate the Floki mascot, Valhalla veras, environments, and objects for the Floki ecosystem
• Translate lore, moodboards, and briefs into high-impact visual storytelling
• Create memes, lots of memes!
• Design and iterate concept art for in-game and brand development
• Collaborate with creative leads and dev teams to evolve style guides and art direction
• Contribute to building a living world through narrative-driven illustration
• Balance speed and quality across fast production cycles
  

You Should Have

• 3+ years experience as a 2D illustrator, concept artist, or visual designer
• A jaw-dropping portfolio of stylized and/or realistic illustration work
• Ability to work in different styles (cartoony, epic fantasy, cyberpunk, etc.)
• Experience with tools like Photoshop and Illustrator 
• Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, light, and form
• Comfortable taking briefs and running with them — you don’t need babysitting
• Fluent in English (we’re async-first, but creative clarity matters)
  

Bonus Points For

• Experience in Web3, GameFi, or NFT illustration
• Background in storyboarding, visual development, or comics
• Animation-friendly art skills (working with motion teams)
• A love for Norse mythology, crypto lore, and meme culture
• Experience illustrating for marketing campaigns or collectibles
